Our Mission

The Turkish Teachers Association of Victoria (TTAV) aims to Facilitate communication and cooperation between teachers of Turkish.

Promote research and instruction in the field of language pedagogy, Turkish linguistics and Turkish literature.
Why we learn Turkish
Turkish is undertaken by over 3.500 (approximate number is required) students across the nation. Turkish has pride of place for being the only language that has the most number of students studying it in VCE.
Let us also remember that Turkish is spoken by over 220 million people world-wide and is spoken by about 160 thousand people in Australia.
Turkish is offered and taught from Prep-VCE level at both mainstream Government and Non-Government schools during the week and on weekends in VSL and Private Community Schools.
The students that undertake the Turkish language as a result is able use this study to gain entrance into the universities.

Gelin birlik olalım, Türkçemizi daha ileriye taşıyalım.
